I missed a printed list of participants, it helps to make initial contact and helps during the tour.

Excellent tour leader and tour manager. Good choice of restaurant. Hotel, although clean etc. I would consider it 3* rather than 4*, however, a very nice simple breakfast. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and a delightful group of people.

Both Tour Guides very good, especially !looking after us! through the chaos of the Gare de Nord strike on the return journey The meals at the nearby Restaurant were very good It would have been good if the Hotel had had BBC World Service news on the TV They only had CNN in English, with no British news.

Really excellent tour - Mike Hope is an exceptional expert and we were so fortunate to have Serg as Tour Manager especially to help us through the nightmare of the chaos at the Gard du Nord where we had to queue for four hours. to get on Eurostar. But even that experience didn't spoil the tour for me.

I only gave the train a bad rating because of the disruption on the return train. But that was due to the French customs police on a work slowdown. So, nothing much could be done about that. The tour itself was great. I'd heard about Mike Hope's tours, and he didn't disappoint. Very informative, enthusiastic and entertaining. And Sergio was amazing. Even during all the train craziness he remained a sea of calm. All in all, it was a wonderful tour. I had a terrific time.
