You’ll visit private and historic gardens, and enjoy the company of Rachel, who’ll share her story and beliefs in the power of gardening to transform and heal. Join us for a week to remember!”

Day 1: Arrive independently at the Jurys Inn, Cheltenham from 15.00.
Welcome reception, dinner with wine and introductory talk from your horticulturalist tour guide, Gardeners’ World Magazine Associate Editor, David Hurrion.
Day 2: Rodmarton Manor & Highgrove.
We start the tour exploring the garden of Rodmarton Manor and its gardens are among the best examples of the Arts & Crafts movement in this country. After an included light lunch, we then return to the hotel to freshen up before the highlight of the tour – our visit to Highgrove. This will start with a private tour of the Royal Gardens at Highgrove, the private home of TRH The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall which for over 40 years have been managed to the organic and sustainable principles that His Royal Highness has for so long championed. On your two-hour tour you will be led by one of HRH The Prince of Wales’s expert guides through these inspirational gardens, from the magical cobble-patterned Thyme Walk, with its flanks of whimsically shaped golden yew topiaries, the sensational Walled Garden, with its tunnels of apple trees, rose arbours and the magnificent Italian fountain to the serene, other worldly setting of the Stumpery. From family life on the Estate to tales of how HRH has crafted each of these amazing gardens from scratch, your tour will offer a rare glimpse into the life of the Prince of Wales and the evolution of one of the most innovative organic gardens of today. Following your garden tour, you will return to the beautiful setting of the Orchard Room and enjoy a three course dinner with wine, talk and a Q&A session with Adam Frost, award-winning garden designer and Gardeners’ World presenter.
Day 3: Miserden Estate and Painswick Rococo Garden.
On our final day, we visit Miserden Estate where we will enjoy a welcome talk about the estate, before a tour of the gardens, which won the HHA Garden of the Year 2018 award, for its ongoing revival of this historic space. Our last stop is the quirky and unique Painswick Rococo Gardens. Designed as a pleasure garden in the 1740s, it’s the UK’s only remaining rococo garden, still rich in follies and stories to explore – which will be brought to life on the group’s private guided tour. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: Rockcliffe Gardens and Upton Wold.
Our first visit of the day is to the lovely Rockcliffe Gardens, where we will enjoy a private tour with either the owner or head gardener. Some free time to relax and have lunch in the archetypal Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, one of the most picturesque in the Cotswolds, if not the whole of the country. Then, it’s on to Upton Wold for a tour of this private garden that has been literally carved out of the limestone.
Day 5: Bourton House and Daylesford Organic Farm.
Today we start with the wondeful gardens at Bourton House, whose three acres of rich planting surrounds an elegant 18th century manor house. Our final visit of this superb tour is to Daylesford’s organic farm shop for time to browse and an informative tour of its impressive organic market garden with head gardener, Jez Taylor. Return to the hotel for about 1700.
