Day 1: Arrive independently at the Hilton Puckrup Hall Hotel from 15.00
Welcome reception, dinner with wine and introductory talk from your horticulturalist tour guide, Gardeners’ World Magazine Associate Editor, David Hurrion
Day 2: Rodmarton Manor. Eastleach House and Stanway House and Fountain.
We start the tour exploring the gardens of three fascinating private homes. Rodmarton Manor and its gardens are among the best examples of the Arts & Crafts movement in this country. Then to Eastleach House for a welcome talk and Q&A with the owner, while Stanway House is famous for its gravity-fed fountain, the highest in the world, which will be switched on to entertain our group. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: Daylesford House and Farm Shop, Bourton House and Whichford Pottery
Lord and Lady Bamford’s Daylesford House and gardens are a hidden Georgian gem, with walled garden, lake and an Indian-inspired Gothic Orangery. There will also be an informative tour of Daylesford Farm Shop’s impressive organic market garden. Next to Bourton House for an included lunch before exploring its three acres of rich planting which surrounds an elegant 18th century manor house. Finally, for some smaller scale inspiration, we will discover how the finest garden pots are made on our guided tour of Whichford Pottery’s workshops and charming pottery courtyard.
Day 4: Highnam Court and Miserden Estate
Highnam Court Gardens offer more horticultural delights with a guided tour from Roger Head, owner and head gardener. Then we head to Miserden House, where we will be joined by Adam Frost. Miserden won the HHA Garden of the Year 2018 award, for its ongoing revival of this historic space. An early light lunch is included here. Finally , we head to the luxurious Barnsley House Hotel for a guided tour of its gardens, created by designer Rosemary Verey, before an indulgent cream tea. This evening, Adam will give a talk this evening, before a private dinner with wine.
Day 5: Kiftsgate Court, Hidcote Manor and Studeley Castle
Your final day includes Kiftsgate Court – a romantic hillside garden, full of roses and sculpture – and Hidcote Manor, with its vivid summer borders. We end at historic Sudeley Castle for a tour of the ancient castle and its romantic gardens, plus a farewell cream tea. Return to the hotel for about 5pm.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a very busy itinerary visiting some sizeable gardens and involving a considerable amount of walking with little or no access to assistance. Please bear this in mind when booking this tour.

The four-star Hilton Puckrup Hall, near Tewkesbury is set in 140 acres of grounds and boasts excellent facilities. Hotel facilities include a restaurant, bar, fitness centre, swimming pool, spa and steam room.

You can normally check in from 3pm onwards but hotels will always be happy to store your luggage if you arrive earlier in the day.
