ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in the Algarve 
Upon arrival at Faro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your elegant beachfront home for the next five nights — the stunning Hotel AP Oriental in Praia da Rocha. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed afternoon orientation tour of the surrounding area, introducing you to the golden beaches, vibrant promenade, and coastal charm of the Algarve. In the evening, gather for a welcome drink followed by a delightful dinner at the hotel, complete with house beverages — the perfect start to your New Year journey.

Day 2: Coastal Wonders & Wine Heritage
After breakfast, set off for an exploration of the Algarve coastline. Discover the enchanting fishing village of Benagil, perched above the Atlantic, where dramatic cliffs meet a tiny golden beach and the ocean provides a soothing soundtrack to village life. Continue to the spectacular landscapes of Algar Seco, near Carvoeiro, where centuries of waves have sculpted incredible caves and grottoes into the coastline. We then head for a visit to a local Algarve winery, where you will enjoy a guided tour followed by a tasting of regional wines paired with delicious local snacks. The day concludes with a stroll through the charming village of Ferragudo, with its cobbled streets and picturesque harbour overlooking Praia da Rocha across the River Arade. Dinner this evening at local restaurant.

Day 3: New Year’s Eve Celebration 
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and a leisurely day to unwind, soak up the seaside atmosphere, or enjoy personal activities. As night falls, prepare for an unforgettable celebration: Pre-gala drinks, Exclusive New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner, Music, festive atmosphere, and celebrations leading into midnight. Welcome 2028 in style at the heart of the Algarve with a glorious firework display on the beach!

Day 4: New Year’s Day Relaxation
Begin the first day of 2028 with a relaxed breakfast and a peaceful morning by the sea. Today is dedicated to rest, recovery, and personal enjoyment. At midday, enjoy a leisurely brunch included at the hotel, followed by a relaxed afternoon at your own pace — perhaps a seaside walk or simply unwinding with ocean views. In the evening, enjoy a comfortable dinner at the hotel, rounding off a calm and refreshing New Year’s Day.

Day 5: Monchique Mountains, Thermal Springs & Coastal Beauty
After breakfast, depart for a spectacular full-day discovery of the Algarve’s inland treasures. Journey to the serene Serra de Monchique, rising 250 metres above sea level, offering breath-taking views and lush landscapes. Explore the historic village of Monchique, home to a 12th-century church, traditional market streets, and charming Portuguese pavement pathways. Visit the renowned Caldas de Monchique thermal spa village, celebrated since Roman times for its healing waters, emerging naturally at 32°C from deep within the earth — a true sanctuary of peace and wellness. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant in Monchique (included). On the return journey, visit the picturesque village of Alvor, followed by a peaceful walk through the stunning Ria do Alvor Nature Reserve, rich in flora, fauna, and natural beauty. In the evening, celebrate your final night with a special farewell dinner at a local restaurant, complete with house beverages — a perfect closing chapter to your Algarve experience.

Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a comfortable transfer to Faro Airport, taking with you unforgettable memories of a magical New Year in Portugal.
